Outlook Level 2 (2003 or 2007)

If you have been using Outlook as a communications tool, then you know how to send a mail message; schedule appointments and meetings; and create contacts, tasks, and notes. This half-day course provides you with the necessary skills to customize your Outlook environment, your calendar, and your mail messages so that they meet your specific needs. You will also learn how to track, share, assign, and quickly locate various Outlook items. You will also discover how to export Outlook information into Excel and import exported data back into Outlook.

Performance-Based Objectives:

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • customize the calendar by setting various calendar options.
  • modify message options by creating a signature and a V-card.
  • create and use the Out of Office assistant.
  • use multiple Outlook calendars
  • export and import Outlook contacts.
  • make folder information available to other Outlook users.
